How to forward your existing business number to Sara

If you chose the forwarding option at signup, here's how to point your existing business line at Sara so callers keep dialing the number they know but reach Sara.

Find your Sara number

It's in your post-signup SMS — looks like `+19281234567` or similar.

Set up forwarding (per-carrier instructions)

The forwarding instructions page in your dashboard has step-by-step guides for:

Common pattern for most US wireless carriers: dial `*72` followed by the 10-digit Sara number, wait for the confirmation tone, hang up. Always-forward is now active.

Test it

After setting up forwarding, call your business number from a different phone. Sara should answer. If you hear your normal voicemail or get a busy signal, the forwarding didn't take — try again or contact your carrier.

Turning forwarding off

Most carriers use `*73` to cancel forwarding. Re-enable any time by re-dialing the forwarding code.
